The Originative x Aqua Living

We have been craving a trip to the Keys for the longest time. Same day P came back from Boston, we hit the road, and 4 1/2 hrs later we we're looking through our 23rd floor window from The Intercontinental Miami unto the skyline of downtown. Bright & early the next day and an extra 4 hrs later, we find ourselves amidst crystal clear water surrounding island after island. The horizon, our gates to paradise where we set to clear our minds and blow away any puffs of clouds. Fact is, once you enter the first key you feel the presence of a different culture, a distinctive way of life, they call it the "hurricane bravado" laid-back atmosphere and an easy going living.

Cruising the 7 mile long bridge we chose to set foot on Bahia Honda State Park, located on the Big Pine key. Basking and bathing on Calusa Beach and exploring the top of the Old Bahia Honda Bridge where we had a bird's eye view of the entire island along with a visit of a few friendly companions, an iguana, Miami Blue butterflies, a barracuda and the star of the day, mister shark man.  Wouldn't change one crumb of our time on Big Pine Key and absolutely recommend it to whomever dreams of a tropical brake without leaving the country.
